Lineup 2025

Friday 9. January

SINMARA

From Iceland

It's almost a bit strange that we haven't had any bands from Iceland at Orgivm before, but in return we now have the pleasure of bringing one of the foremost providers of dark, chaotic and mystical BLACK METAL when Sinmara makes their first concert in Norway since 2019 at ORGIVM V in January. The band's dissonant and nightmarish Black Metal has received favorable comparisons with bands like Deathspell Omega, Blut Aus Nord, Misþyrming and Misotheist, and live they are nothing less than exactly the volcanic eruption you could wish for.

DEUS MORTEM

From Poland

It is with enormous pride that we can now welcome Deus Mortem to Orgivm V at Parkteatret! This Polish band hardly needs any further introduction, but it is of course worth mentioning how they surpassed themselves and all expectations with last year's absolutely brilliant release "Thanatos", which made several of us go completely crazy. It is powerful, brutal, atmospheric and dynamic, in the same way as for example Watain, Marduk or Whoredom Rife at their best.

FAUSTCOVEN

From Norway

Darkness can take many forms, and for the Norwegian cult beasts Faustcoven, the goal since starting in 2002 has been to spread a cool, shadowy and gloomy unease by delivering the dirtiest and most unpleasant doom-filled Black Metal you've ever had nightmares about. Their hybrid of bands like Venom, Black Sabbath, Bathory, Gorgoroth and Cathedral could have been the soundtrack to the most blood-dripping gruesome horror film you've ever seen.

VORTEX OF END

From France

One of the most exciting scenes in Black Metal in recent years is definitely the French one, and an excellent representative of this scene is Vortex of End, which actually celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. Their evil, satanic and occult Black Metal with some delicious doses of death has represented a triumphant chaos both from the stage and on record.

UNHOLY CRAFT

From Norway

As many have noticed, we have built up a tradition when it comes to debut concerts, and ORGIVM V is of course no exception. The one-man band Unholy Craft didn't see the night's gloom and darkness until 2022, but has already managed to make itself noticed with three full-lengths and a split release. When he has now gathered together a live band, it's time for a solid dose of raw and brutal "ur-black metal" with roots in both Darkthrone, early Enslaved, Kvist and Gorgoroth.
